Flux Protocol is a decentralized blockchain oracle that has been in development for several months. It is multifunctional. Provides both developers and ordinary users with many options.

This is a chain oracle. Works in several networks at once. Support for all popular blockchains is declared. So far, Flux has only been launched in a test version, but it works on the Near and Solana blockchains.

A feature of Flux is the aggregation of data from other oracles. That is, it can take information from Chainlink, Band Protocol, Api3 Dao and other popular oracles. A significant part of the protocol’s functionality is to compare information and provide the user with the most reliable information.

This simplifies the user’s work in comparing data, because he does not have to configure all oracles and pay a commission with different tokens. At Flux, the commission should be quite low. In the future, Flux announced the ability to connect user interfaces that will be adapted to different modes of operation and will benefit certain consumers.

Possibility of manual processing of Flux data. That is, this oracle will be able to provide smart contracts with data that cannot be obtained in an automated way, for example, via Api. Although, of course, Flux also has the ability to take data through Api. Data transferred in manual mode will not be subjective. For their transfer to the end consumer, a consensus of many validators will have to be reached.

Flux has this part very well thought out. A fully-fledged decentralized and autonomous organization Flux DAO within the ecosystem. It will determine the size of the commission, the size of the required contributions for the validators. There will also be protection from unscrupulous clients. This will be implemented through a whitelist of smart contracts that are allowed to access data via Flux. The Flux DAO will lead the addition of smart contracts to this list.
